JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Store Keeper managing stock by keeping a record of sales and ordering the required replacement items, occasionally making new product purchases that consumers may enjoy.
• Store Keeper is responsible for all stock, staff management, and planning promotional campaigns for the store.
DUTIES:
• Assist store staff in displaying products in an easy-to-locate manner.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock.
• Inspect items and products for any breakages or damages.
• Handle safely and delicately the items and products in a store
• Assist stores staff in managing inventory controls.
• Maintain the store area neat and clean and sanitized.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage areas. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications
• Assist and help customers in locating their items of purchase.
