Objectives & Responsibilities

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, implementing and optimising pricing strategies for the company’s products and services, in accordance to the company’s pricing policy, with existing clients and prospects through direct sales, web and later sales channels in order to maximize clients’ responsiveness, price effectiveness and reach sales and marketing objectives for the world market leader in the trade of assembly and fixing material. He/She will work in a small, dynamic team with close contact to other departments like Marketing, Product and Sales to run existing pricing strategies and put new into place. The Pricing Specialist focuses on managing the operational and strategic activities in the field of setting base prices, developing and controlling discount programs for different sales channels and divisions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Activities
Manage strategic planning and implementation of all pricing strategies in accordance to the company’s pricing policy
Communicate and cooperate with different functional units of the company to gather and consolidate all necessary data in order to build pricing models and strategies
Calculating purchasing price and conducting negotiations with suppliers in order to cultivate or optimise purchasing prices
Set up and running of an effective competition comparison and monitoring model, consolidating market research data, evaluate trends, analyse and interpret data
Set up base prices and discount structure depending on specific product range, sales division, sales channel, customer potential, core or marginal products per market sector and price/quantity dependency
Continuously monitor, audit and analyse implementation of pricing strategies to assure systematic risk and deviations are identified and corrected, sales training issues are identified and addressed
Review, monitor, maintain and keep up-to-date customers contract and condition frames, and effectively coordinate pricing exception requests and approvals
Recognizing and correcting missing or wrong data and formulas and properly maintain pricing tables
Design and perform routine maintenance of pricing activity and related reports (e.g. Gross-profit report) to assure on going operational and management visibility of pricing activities and the ability to evaluate integrity of the pricing and discounting processes
Create and conduct pricing trainings and seminars to sales personnel
Prepare agenda and coordinate Price Team Meetings

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Requirements
Profound knowledge of marketing and economic
Strong mathematical, statistical and analytical skills, ability to synthesizes complex or diverse information
Profound knowledge of the main analytics instruments (for ex. Microsoft Office, Excel, Access etc.)
Understanding the impact of pricing on profit margins
Good sense of finance or accounting principles
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, strong presentations skills and ability to present numerical data effectively
Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
Strong work ethic and strategic thinking
Fluent English or German, knowledge of both is considered a plus
