PHP Software Engineer Banja Luka
We are a fast-growing, agile team who made from the scratch and launched in 2006 the best Cost per View and the leading Contextual Textlink and Display Advertising Platform on the market, called Trafficvance.
If you join us, you'll be able to work with platform which slightly expands toward Exchange as complete Ad solution supports different user roles and multiple access levels including both demand and supply sides collecting data into one comprehensive management tool. Our team is focused on developing and optimizing platform which processes billions of records hourly, aggregates data into rich grid and chart reports, and presents measured performances into simple and understandable dashboards.
Responsibilities
Design and code backend PHP applications and services. Emphasis is placed on implementing maintainable, scalable systems capable of handling heavy DB requests
Contribute high-quality code to multiple software projects in a variety of languages, primarily PHP
Build an understanding of the on-line advertising ecosystem and leverage your engineering expertise to build innovative solution
Design and develop components for advertising products
Support, debug & fix issues in our production application
Design, implement and test new features and system components
Write efficient and maintainable code
Write unit and end-to-end automated tests to provide code coverage, particularly for business-critical components
Deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering peers to implement end-to-end solutions

Qualifications
BA/BS degree or 2+ years of related experience (degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred)
2+ years of solid programming experience in PHP core libraries and developing web server applications, object oriented design and design patterns, and passionate about writing high quality and well-architected code
Experience developing with MVC Frameworks (Yii, Codeigniter)
Familiarity with web technology (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
Query optimization and advanced MySQL Queries
Experience with NoSQL databases
Familiarity with a Linux environment (CentOS/RedHat)
Experience with design and implementation of modern web services architecture and API frameworks (REST/SOAP/AJAX/JSON)
Experience with source control software SVN or GIT, general configuration management methodologies and automated build and testing processes
Possesses solid understanding of web development design (UI depth) and web development (web services)
