OSCE oglas za posao: National Project Officer
The Project Officer implements activities, initiatives and projects aimed at achieving the set objectives of the Security Co-operation Unit. This includes initiatives aimed at capacity building of defence and security institutions in BiH and supporting BiH in upholding the principles of democratic control of armed forces and oversight of the defence and security sector, as well as assisting BiH in meeting its OSCE politico-military commitments, and including in this work a broad range of societal actors, to include local government and communities, civil society, social, educational and health sectors as well as religious communities. The Project Officer also gathers information and provides analysis and assessment of key developments in defence and security fields, including on issues of violent extremism and radicalization and prepares reports and briefs on the same in order to inform the decisions of the leadership of the Unit and of the Mission. He/she is responsible for ensuring cost effective use of project funding to maximize the benefit of OSCE’s support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for implementing additional cost saving measures and those aimed at increasing long-term project impact and sustainability of results.
