Located in Sarajevo, Reports to the Director Fundraising & Communication, 3 years limited contract
SOS Children’s Villages Country started its operation in the year 1994. with the first SOS-Children’s Village in Sarajevo and Gračanica and is currently running 3 programmes (SOS Children’s Villages, Family Strengthening-programmes and Youth programmes) thus caring for a total of 223 children and young people www.sos-ds.ba.
The Individual fundraiser will be a member in a team of 9 colleagues.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Pursue the opportunities for funding by fundraising activities targeting individuals
Strategically and operatively managing the project of regular individual donations, implementing and analysing project activities and results, proposes measures and activities for the success of the project
Building and maintaining strong and long lasting relationships with individual donors

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Requirements:
University degree in business administration, marketing or fundraising
A proven track record of at least 5 years in individual fundraising, marketing or sales – depending on the educational background
Expertise in Direct Marketing channels and knowledge and experience in customer relationship management
Experience in project management
Fluent spoken and written English
Strong motivation to identify with vision, mission and values of SOS Children’s Villages
Competencies – knowledge, skills, abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills and social competence
A strong result-orientation and ability to manage own time and to work under high pressure
Able to work with or within a virtual team
Experience with negotiations and management of partners and service providers
Good at relationship building with different layers of the organisation
Candidate profile
We are looking for a self-motivated determined and with a “can do” mentality, i.e. able to identify and take advantage of opportunities that support Fundraising. They should be an optimistic person, socially competent, creative interdisciplinary thinking regarding individual fundraising.
They will need to have BH Nationality with a proven understanding and knowledge how things work in Bosnia and Herzegovina and be professionally well networked.
