This role leads on developing strategic partnerships and securing funding for the Education programme, as well as design and delivery of the Education and partnership programme in the six Western Balkans countries. The post holder will be responsible for the development, delivery, evaluation and measurement of impact of the Western Balkans Education plans, ensuring they meet financial and impact targets, in accordance with wider regional, sector and corporate priorities and which generate value to the UK.

Role overview
We are looking for an experienced education professional to work as part of our wider regional Education team and Western Balkans leadership team on developing strategic partnerships and securing funding to ensure successful delivery of agreed objectives and plans for the British Council and its clients.
Some of the main responsibilities will include:
to design high quality education interventions that address audience, stakeholder and donor needs, tangibly improve education outcomes and raise standards in education in the local country context
to build organisational and personal profile with a range of national education stakeholders and agencies in the Western Balkans.
