The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, prototyping, deploying and supporting in-house software solutions for the Syria program.
Reporting to the Director of Data Systems, the main duties and responsibilities of the Database Software Developer are:
– Designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining in-house software solutions;
– Integrating software components into a fully functional software system; Adapting and deploying software tools and processes;
– Comply with project plans and industry standards;
Establishing communication channels with users and professional experts in order to collect information required for development of new applications;
– Creating custom reports when requested;
– Developing data and security protection strategies on application level;
– Writing code documentation;
– Reviewing test results and fixing technical problems;
– Contributing to technical design and progress meetings;
– Researching new technologies and potential improvements of front-end/back-end components of ICMP applications;
– Other related duties as required
