Our client company is based in the United States. It’s a brokerage and asset-based truck company, with 16 years of successful business operations and a 200+ vehicle fleet across the USA.

Position: Billing Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated hard working professional to join the team. This position provides timely and high-quality billing services and is responsible for supporting the needs of the Finance Department. You will be responsible for generating/reviewing bills and compiling data in spreadsheets and accounting software.

You will be working remotely, full-time, adjusting your working schedule to the CST time zone. The working language is English, and we expect our candidate to posses a high level of written and oral proficiency.


The main responsibilities include:

· Receive and review documentation from drivers

· Obtain missing or correct data when necessary, after evaluating billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness

· Review, evaluate, and process timely invoices

· Communicate with customers and internal employees to resolve billing issues

· Review client contracts to ensure correct rates are charged

· Work with A/R and A/P to resolve various issues

· Maintain confidentiality

· Prepare billing and expense accruals for accounting at month-end

· Other duties as assigned; may include assisting with special projects

· Holds 2+ years of experience in Freight Transportation

· Is proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Google Suite, and Excel
