Novus Initium Contracting is a company specialized in Stone & Tile industry.
With over 20 years of experience, we have successfully managed various commercial and residential projects, mostly located in NYC.
We are looking for a long-term full-time drafter to join our team (remote position):
Responsibilities:
- Creating material takeoffs and closely collaborating with estimators during the bidding process
- Preparing accurate and detailed shop drawings for awarded projects
- Revising drawings based on red lines, site changes, and client feedback
- Coordinating with project management team and creating material bills
- Maintaining and organizing project files and folders
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Candidate must have minimum 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
Must be able to read and understand architectural drawings.
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday 01:00pm – 09:30pm
Friday 07:00am-03:30pm
Weekends: Off

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- High school / bachelor’s degree in civil engineering / architectural
- 0-3 years of experience in construction industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office
- Experience in Sketchup is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, team player and eager to learn
