DDC MLS currently has an open position for the position of Service Desk IT Support in Sarajevo!

Service Desk IT Support (m/f)
Location: Sarajevo

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis and repair of computer equipment (hardware and software)
  • Administration of local and remote networks (LAN, VLAN, VPN)
  • Administration and maintenance of infrastructure server solutions (virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, storage, cloud, etc.)
  • Work on projects
  • Independent, active, accurate and responsible performing maintenance activities
  • Responsible for gathering and resolving IT issues through the ticketing system
  • Ticket escalation for the next IT support level
  • Responsible for asset management
  • Other IT tasks related to the 1st and 2nd level of IT support

Experience:

  • IT Support Helpdesk Software – team works desk or other software desirable, however training will be provided
  • Proven IT experience, specifically the use of Microsoft/MS Office products to support end users and ability to produce high quality documentation
  • Experience creating ‘how to’ guides for staff
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT Management
  • Experience with databases, servers, internet, cloud, virtualization, networking
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT technician

Knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent reading and grammar skills of English language is a must (minimum knowledge at B2 level)
  • Bachelor’s degree or possession of a university equivalency diploma
  • Display confidence when dealing with people, with well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong analytical skills
  • To be able to prioritize and manage many assignments at the same time
  • Very good interpersonal skills
