Background
NOTE: Please note that the appointment to this post is subject to approval of the 2017 Unified Budget.

Under the direct supervision of the National Administrative Officer, the incumbent provides a variety of clerical, administrative, logistical and secretarial support services according to predefined work schedule and in accordance with the OSCE Regulatory Framework.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Specific duties include:

Providing general office support and clerical tasks as may be required by National Administrative Officer;
Providing receptionist service and assistance to visitors to the Office, informing and directing them to the appropriate Office staff; Filtering and answering office telephone calls; Receiving, directing and mailing all hard copy correspondence and documentation, including faxes;
Ordering office stationary, monitoring and providing the office with office supplies;
Filing relevant documentation in established filing and document management systems, both paper-based and electronic, ensuring documents are properly organized;
Notifying National Administrative Officer of major repairs/replacement of furniture and equipment and of all changes to Field Office inventory list;
Providing administrative and logistical support in relocation, reorganization and movement / rearrangement of office equipment / furniture and supplies;
Serving as one of the Office drivers when required with responsibility for the transportation of staff, visitors, mail and goods; as driver is accountable for vehicle daily maintenance, including cleaning, refuelling and trip log;
Assisting the National Administrative Officer in maintaining / managing security requirements;
Performing other duties as assigned.

Necessary Qualifications

Completed secondary education;
Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in an office environment preferably in an international set up;
Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft applications
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and local languages;
Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds;
Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities;
Possession of a valid driving license.

Remuneration Package
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 1,832.50 BAM/month. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna health insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.

Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. At the discretion of the appointing authority a higher step may be approved up to a maximum of step 3 subject to specific conditions.
