Location: Sarajevo, Bosna i Hercegovina
Position Summary:
This role involves a responsible, proactive, and qualified individual to lead the finance function in line with local and international standards and contribute to achieving the company’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning and analysis, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and compliance with local laws.
- Oversee the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and account analysis.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate key financial activities, such as internal controls, tax reporting, and period-end processes.
- Organize and prioritize team and individual tasks effectively.
- Overseeing accounting, controlling, and financial reporting processes.
- Lead a team of 2 people and ensure proper development, coordination and training
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Management.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, controlling, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tax principles and IFRS is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Business English (minimum B2 level) for effective international communication.
- Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
