JOB DESCRIPTION:
• To assist customers in the in-store check-out process.
• Main duties include ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change.
• Responsible for counting the contents of cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records and withdrawals.
DUTIES:
• Responsible for writing, processing and final packaging of customer orders
• Tasked with clerical and administrative duties including receiving administered calls throughout the day, and meticulous record keeping
• Responsible for opening and closing the store daily
• Engage with customers by answering any and all questions they have about services offered
• Handle cash, check, and credit card transactions
• Maintain record of customers' garments that are brought into and out of the store.
• Maintain confidentiality of customers' personal and financial information.
• Handles financial transactions with efficiency and accuracy
• Answer telephones and communicate with other stores for variety of matters
• Greets customers upon arrival and offer assistance
