Our client is a global supplier of embedded software products, development tools and services for the automotive industry. He is a leader and premium member involved in development of open and standardized AUTOSAR (Automotive Software Architecture) framework.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER (m/f)
Location: Zagreb, Croatia
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Debugging SW components and overall solutions both on target and simulated environment
- Find and report defects, verify defect fixes focusing on the steps to reproduce and root cause analysis – coding expected
- Verifying the test cases matching the specifications and requirements
- Develop, debug and maintain automated test based on manual test cases or from scratch
- Creating local and remote test setups using specialized testing equipment for embedded hardware and automotive
- Documentation work according to internal process and methodology
- Preparation for peer reviews for conformance
- Contribution to detailed SW component design and improvement / correction
- Find and report defects, verify defect fixes focusing on the steps to reproduce and root cause analysis – coding expected
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- University education in fields of Electrical Engineering, IT, or related fields
- 5 years of experience in programming & testing, using C, C++, Java, scripting
- English – proficient spoken and written
- Knowledge of versioning and revision control systems (e.g. SVN, Git, Synergy, MKS)
- General Testing knowledge (test methodologies, specification, execution, reporting)
- Experience in code integration/test role
- Experience in working with configuration management and collaboration tools, JIRA, Confluence, CI tooling (e.g. Jenkins)
- Willingness to travel for short business trips
- Embedded system development experience
- Knowledge of Autosar, HSM and Hypervisor is a plus
- Experience with real-time OS
- Experience with Linux OS
- Experience in hardware debugging
- Experience in static code analysis and coding rules (i.e. MISRA)
- Experience in communication network/protocols CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, MOST
- Knowledge of HW architectures and design
- Experience in using UML
- German is a plus
- 5 years of experience in programming & testing, using C, C++, Java, scripting
