The twinning project
“Improving capacity of Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina”
is seeking to recruit:
RTA language assistant
Duration: 24 months, (indicative date – beginning of November 2016 until the end of October 2019)
The position is based in: Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ITA), Banja Luka
Qualifications:
Excellent command of spoken and written B/S/C and English language;
Knowledge of German and Slovenian is desirable;
University degree, preferably in the English language;
Previous experience in language assistance, translations and interpretations;
Excellent organisational skills;
Advanced usage of computer and office software packages (MS World, Excel, etc.)
Experience in Customs and Taxation terminology is a strong asset.
Previous working experience in IPA twinning projects is an asset;

Act as a language assistant to the RTA and assisting short term experts during their visits;
Translation of written materials with relation to the project;
Interpretation during missions, meetings, workshops, seminars, trainings and other project events;
Developing and maintaining close working contacts and relationships with Beneficiary Country officials involved in each of the activities and the project management;
Close cooperation with the RTA assistant to manage daily workload.
Interested candidates are requested to submit their CV in EU format and a letter of application in English via e‐ mail to the following address: [email protected] within ten days of the announcement.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview. Selected candidate will sign a contract with the Agency for European Integration and Economic Development, Vienna Austria.
The abovementioned Twinning project is funded by the European Union and will be implemented as a joint project between the Agency for European Integration and Economic Development and the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Overall Objectives are to further align with Union Acquis and to effectively implement legislation, practices and Stabilisation and Association Agreement in the field of indirect taxation.
Project purpose is to further strengthen the administrative and coordination capacity of Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA).
