Job description:
General purpose and aim: Issue of valuation reports of any building on the property including residential and commercial real estate and land according to international valuation standards.
Detailed description of the tasks:
Real Estate Evaluator is responsible for:
- Assessing the market value of
- All residential real estates
- Commercial real estates
- Issue of market value appraisals of real estate projects according to international valuation standards
- Issue of future market value appraisals of new construction projects (market value after completion)
- Issue of „Value in Use“ calculations for accounting purposes
- Writing statements to technical inquires and making plausibility checks of external appraisal reports
- Carrying out periodical checks of existing market value appraisals according to the solvability regulation (follow-up appraisals)
- Close cooperation with the Center of Competence in our holding company
- Collaboration with the development of internal processes and standard flows as well as IV- standards and hosting of internal documentations and data bases (such as local real estate research desk)
- Oftentimes inspect properties in BIH, noting any positive or negative features, verify property legal descriptions in public records.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Higher technical education institute, University and basis knowledge in business
- Relevant qualifications respective certifications as e.g. MRICS, REV recognized by international valuation associations, etc.
- Several years of work experience in the valuation sector (min. three years of experience that demonstrates the following: appraising single and multi-family residential, industrial, commercial and agricultural properties)
- Excellent knowledge of real estate market in Bosnia-Herzegovina
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (to write letters, memos and reports and to be able to clearly present information at meetings)
- Excellent computer literacy (especially MS-Office, R&S estimator software)
- Valid Class B driver’s license with driver experiences
- Proactivity and personal responsibility are absolutely necessary
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive business information
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to analyze data and evaluate information
- Ability to work effectively in teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and timeliness
- Ability to prioritize and met deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple activities, establish goals and priorities.
