SANCHILD is a non-profit organization which contributes to the development of sustainable peace within communities and their environment. In collaboration with Western Balkans Alumni Association, we have been mandated by Rotary Sarajevo Club and Rotary Club Geneva International, to implement our Harmony Project, “From Inner to Outer Peace” which aims to train local trainers in specific skills in teaching and leading sustainable inner/outer conflict resolutions.
Based on that we are looking for a part – time Project manager from May to November 2020.
Job Overview
We are seeking to hire a seasoned Project Manager to join our team for a project based first year in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. Potentially there might be some travels in surrounding countries (but mainly based in Bosnia and
Herzegovina). If you’re passionate about project management with positive impact this is the perfect job for you.
Project manager will work closely with implementing partners and participants of the project.
Responsibilities for Project Manager
Implementation of the project scope and objectives defined within our MOU with the two Rotary Clubs.
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Track project costs in order to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Communicate with participants, assistance and follow up on their projects and report to SANCHILD coordinator.
Provide data, distribute survey questionnaires and organize interviews with participants & project evaluator.
Provide project updates and reports on a consistent basis with adjustments, and progress.
Create specific reports with feedbacks and present these to SANCHILD coordinator
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by SANCHILD coordinator and WBAA coordinator.

Bachelor’s degree
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle, with evidence of accomplishment
Excellent analytical skills, very well organized and familiar with logistics follow ups
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Speaking fluently English & Local languages.
