Assist Executive Chef in the preparation of meals and be efficient and effective in washing pots and plates during service while at the same time assisting with the plating of meals to an exceptionally high standard. This role involves lots of commom sense, energy and the foresight to see where you will be most helpful next.

• Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
• Assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed
• Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
• Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
• Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
• Disposing of rubbish
• Organising linen laundry
• Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
PREREQUISITES:
Education: High school education or equivalent
Experience: 1 years’ experience
