Position: Application Engineer

The Application Engineer, will primarily be responsible for providing contractual services and to assist customers with problem solving support regarding the Client’s products and applications and to provide solutions. The Employee will assist Key Account Managers and Sales Representatives preparing new business proposals and ensure implementation of the Six Service Standards.
Other Responsibilities include:
- Provide on-site field service and / or on-site assistance
- Conduct site surveys, product / application / system audits
- Coordinate and manage replacement parts programs
- Travel within assigned region required
- Assist in report preparation detailing technical problems and solutions
- Monitor subcontractor network
- Providing training to the first-line Account Managers on Company offerings
- Bachelor's Degree in a science or technical area; Chemical Engineering preferred;
- Chemical knowledge required; experience in materials, scheduling, inventory, manufacturing and installation processes 2/1
- Approx. 3+ years of experience in water and steam treatment, basic industry, pulp and paper industry
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal verbal and written communication skills are essential
- A current, valid driving license, B category
- Practical computer application literacy (MS Office)
